Under the Hood

The Ford F-150 offers seven engines to choose from, giving you the flexibility to get the engine that works best for you. You can select the horsepower, torque, and even the type of fuel. There are five gas engines, one hybrid engine, and one diesel engine to choose from.

The standard engine under the hood of the F-150 is the 3.3L V6 gas engine with 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque.

The diesel engine offers similar horsepower with a lot more torque. The available 3.0L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V6 engine generates 250 horsepower 440 lb-ft of torque.

The hybrid engine offers the most torque available of all seven engines. The available 3.5L PowerBoostâ„¢ Full Hybrid V6 engine puts out 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque.
If you’re looking for an eco-friendly gas engine with the most horsepower and torque you can get, the available High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 offers a whopping 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.

Towing and Payload Capacity

The Ford F-150 can tow and haul with the best of them. If you’re looking for a workhorse, you’ll find it in the F-150.

When properly equipped, the maximum towing capacity of the F-150 is 14,000 pounds. To help you when you tow, the available Smart Trailer Tow Connector lets you know if something on your trailer needs attention.

If you’re someone who wants to fill the truck bed, the maximum payload capacity is 3,325 pounds when properly configured. This is great for equipment, ATVs, and even camping gear if you’re heading out into nature.

Interior and Exterior Tech

The Ford F-150 is stacked full of tech inside and out. Many of these features aid in productivity so you can get the job done or help you enjoy the ride.

If you enjoy working at night, the available selectable zone lightning on the exterior of your F-150 can help you see all around your truck. You can even control the lighting from your FordPassâ„¢ App.

The F-150 has a standard infotainment system inside the cabin powered by SYNC® 4. The infotainment system has Bluetooth® capability, and you can use your favorite apps via standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
