Body Shop Manager

Blackwell Ford is looking for a Body Shop Manager to join our team. Blackwell Ford strives to make every customer a customer for life. Oversee and manage day to day operations of the body shop including, but not limited to…Writing estimates for Customer pay, Non-DRP, DRP and internal customers. Hold daily production meetings to insure proper communication with all body shop staff and parts personnel. Manage, assist and updating of customers, insurance companies and rental agencies. Be able to write a complete repair plan including accurate parts pricing and coordinating sublets. Matching estimates and supplement from Insurance companies in CCC. Keep repair files accurate and up to date. Closes repair orders as the repairs are completed. Oversee and participate in collection of body shop receivables keeping oldest under 60 days.

Blackwell Ford is looking for a Body Shop office estimator to join our team. Blackwell Ford strives to make every customer a customer for life. Greeting customers upon arrival to Blackwell Ford, calling customers with updates on their repairs, calling insurance companies for claim assignments, payment status and deductible information, matching estimates and supplement from Insurance companies in CCC and taking additional photos of vehicles on site and during the repair process are just a few things that the position would include. Service Technician

We are looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and Ford certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Michigan State Technician's License
• Ford Certification
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
